Every 1st of December is celebrated as WORLD AIDS DAY. This year, under the theme END INEQUALITIES, END AIDS.
Globally as of 2020's December statistics, 37.7million persons live with HIV. The world has had a 1.5million record of new infections. While 680.000 deaths have been recorded due to HIV.
Of the 37.7million who are infected just 27million have access to treatment. VAHA today joins her voice to the World Health Organisation, calling on world leaders and citizens to rally and confront the inequalities that drive AIDS and to reach people who are currently not receiving essential HIV services
