Cho Sandrine MANKA

Field Supervisor

Cho Sandrine Manka is a holder of a B.sc in sociology and anthropology from the University of Buea with over 3 years of community working experience.  As a medical anthropologist and field supervisor of VAHA, her work focuses on designining community based strategies for the prevention and control of diseases. She also applies methodological contributions to public health as a medical anthropologist, especially with regards to the use of ethnography for the systematic collection and analysis of descriptive, interpretative and formative data and the integration of qualitative and quantitative approaches into community research. She also has the ability to translate scientific knowledge into effective practice at the community level which has much to offer to public health.
