Joshua Oiro

Executive Director

Mr. Joshua Oiro is a seasoned team leader, programs/project manager, monitoring & Evaluation Specialist with over 15 years of experience in the international Development & humanitarian field. He is the founder of multiple startups including Easy Global, resolute management consultants, and Value health Africa Kenya. He has vast knowledge in and people leadership, Grants management, Stakeholder management/ engagement in both public and private entities. He is an associate member of the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM), Member of the Kenya health informatics association (Kehia), and a roaster member of the WHO digital health consultants.

 

Recently, Mr. Oiro has been a consultant with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) where has championed numerous initiatives in digital health and agriculture. He is the immediate Director of programs, cohesion & Development at Echo Network Africa. Previously Mr. Oiro worked as a Chief of Party and Deputy chief of party for the USG-CDC funded Kenya Health Management Information systems project from 2010 to 2018. He still serves as the director, Easy global Ltd and as an independent lead project Consultant for Electronic Medical Records (EMR) at the International Rescue Committee in Nairobi. He has undertaken numerous consultancies in Project Management Trainings, M& E systems design, and a host of training in Total quality management (TQM), Data analysis, ICT governance, and strategic management. Areas of expertise include project management, grants management, Monitoring, and Evaluation of stakeholders’ engagement and representation. He is exceptional and talented team development, coaching, and mentorship expert. Technically -savvy with outstanding skills in relationship building, negotiation, and communication skills. I am very proficient in English and Swahili - speaking and writing.

 

Mr. Oiro has a master’s in computer science from the University of Nairobi, and is also trained in leadership & management in Healthcare (University of Washington).
