To mark Global Fatty Liver Disease Awareness Day 2025, Value Health Africa (VAHA), in collaboration with the CMA of Djeleng, hosted a successful community health event in Bafoussam, focusing on promoting liver health and preventing non-communicable diseases.

With the support of the Global Liver Institute and strong participation from the Regional Delegation of Public Health for the West Region, the event emphasized early detection, health education, and community empowerment

    👥 150+ participants from the community
    💉 80 individuals screened for diabetes and high blood pressure
    🥗💪 Health talks on nutrition, physical activity, and liver disease prevention
    🧑🏾‍⚕️📘 Training workshop on Fatty Liver Disease for 28 Community Health Workers, led by Dr. Wabo

🤝 Institutional Support

The Regional Delegation of Public Health for the West Region was present and actively engaged, demonstrating strong governmental commitment to liver health awareness and preventive care.
