Health Organizations Celebrate WORLD AIDS DAY in the North West Region.

It was marked by a sensitization March through some main streets in the town of Bamenda this morning.

With Value Health Africa, the theme of this year is "End Inequalities, End AIDS, End Pandemics".

Matching through the streets with placards and making their way to the regional hospital where health materials were displayed for proper education, condoms were shared as a means of preventing HIV.

The event equally saw dramas on the importance of educating the population about the existence of HIV/AIDS. According to statistics, both males and females contact HIV making youths children and adults, vulnerable. The population has been strongly advised to get tested against the virus.
