Welcome VAHA's newly recruited Grant Manger and Research Assistant, Mr Fomboh Richard
Mr Fomboh Richard started his career as a secondary school teacher in Cameroon with Divine Comprehensive High School (DCHS) Bali, after completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology at the University of Buea, Cameroon. He then accomplished an MSc (University of Buea) specialising in Epidemiology and Control of Infectious Diseases. He also obtained two Diplomas (i) Human Resource Management and (ii) Project Management via online studies. Fomboh Richard has served in various capacities as Academic Administrator including the positions of Vice-Principal (at the Divine Comprehensive High School), Associate Director in charge of Research and Corporation to Registrar (at the Institute for Management and Professional Training, Yaoundé). Similarly, he has serve as a humanitarian in various Non-Governmental Organizations as Research Assistant (at the Research Foundation for Tropical Diseases and Environment, Buea), and as Coordinator of Education, Research and Community-based Projects (at the Integrated Health for All Foundation (IHAF), Yaoundé). Fomboh’s rich experience in research and writing has earned him an authorship of eight peer reviewed journal articles, with some in the publishing process and three Books. Currently besides his main job as Faculty Officer and Instructor with Cameroon Christian University, Richard will be serving as the volunteer grant writer and Research Assistant with Value Health Africa (VAHA), Bamenda.
